As a part of global Physiotherapy Day, MAMA RIGA Clinic together with Latvian physiotherapist association is organizing “pop-up” event “Don’t sit, but stand up!” starting on 5th and finishing on 23rd of September.
As a part of such event, in offices of interested companies will be organized physiotherapeutic “pop-up’ master-classes. Moreover, there will also be an opportunity to receive free consultations fr om professional physiotherapist in MAMA RIGA Clinic and participate in free class as a part of “Find your gymnastic group” event.
The word “pop-up” means “suddenly appear”, which is why this word is applied to different events surprisingly happening and lasting a relatively short period of time.
Global Physiotherapy Day occurs at 8th of September and it is aiming to catch attention as many people as possible to the importance of moving and making physical exercises on daily basis. Physiotherapist is a part of medical team, who makes an investigation, evaluates the patient and creates an individual kind of a treatment for a functional state. Professional physiotherapist is able to provide different variety of physiotherapy methods like healing therapies, manual therapies, specialized massages, taping etc.
“Motion and correct physical exercises are especially important in order to preserve and enhance the general health. In the last years, there is a lot of attention payed to skeletal disorders and their prophylaxis coupled with the treatment. However, I can announce that absolutely the same reasons causing musculoskeletal disorders are tightly interconnected with risks and problems of human’s fertility – those are problems like circulation disorders, disrupted metabolism, hormones, nerve impulses etc. All mentioned are usually leading to fertility problems for men and women. Little amount of physical movement and extensive physical load are causing a variety of health problems. That is exactly why physical gymnastic is so important for your stature, general outlook and health. Moreover, it is a direct, historical responsibility of MAMA Clinic to preserve physical health of people since the building, wh ere clinic placed, is a former House of Gymnasts – restorated historical building in a very center of Riga built in 19 century by Reinholds Schmelings. Nowadays, in this neo-renaissance building you can find modern, well-equipped sport hall, dressing rooms and high-end fertility clinic” – tells a member of MAMA RIGA Clinic administration Imants Smirnovs.
